Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise will hold an Alternatives Public Information Meeting for the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for the Proposed Interchange at Stirling Road (State Road (SR) 848) and Florida’s Turnpike (SR 91) at Milepost 52 in Broward County, FL. The project will also evaluate intersection improvements at Stirling Road and SR 7/US 441. This meeting will give interested persons an opportunity to review the project alternatives being considered, ask questions, and provide comments concerning the conceptual design and potential social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. The Enterprise will provide several ways to participate in the Alternatives Public Information Meeting: • Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 6:00 p.m. (Virtual): Interested people may participate in the Alternatives Public Information Meeting virtually from a computer, tablet, smartphone, or by telephone in listen-only mode. If you wish to participate, please visit the project website, www.TurnpikeatStirlingRoad.com, to register for the Alternatives Public Information Meeting and select your participation option. Please note that registration works best in the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browsers. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to join the Alternatives Public Information Meeting online. Participants may also join in listen-only mode by calling GoToWebinar Call-in Number 1 877-568-4108 and entering access code 887-817-881. • Thursday, June 12, 2025, 5:30 p.m. (In-person): Interested people may participate in the Alternatives Public Information Meeting in person at the Old Davie School Museum & Event Venue, 6650 Griffin Road, Davie, FL 33314. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the Alternatives Public Information Meeting, along with informational videos. All meeting materials will be available on the project website www.TurnpikeatStirlingRoad.com for review on the day of the virtual meeting. Comments or questions about the project may be submitted via the Alternatives Public Information Meeting registration form located on the project website, www.TurnpikeatStirlingRoad.com, and at the virtual and in-person meetings. Comments may also be submitted by contacting the project manager (see below). All comments received or postmarked on or before Monday, June 23, 2025, will be included in the records for the Alternatives Public Information Meeting.
