On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), you and your staff are invited to attend a Virtual and In-Person Construction Open House to learn about SR 716/SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard and SR 5/US 1 Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) Project on SR 716/SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard from west of Shelter Drive to SR 5/US 1 and SR 5/US 1 south of the Martin/St. Lucie County line to SR 716/SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard in the City of Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County. Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2025.
The Virtual Public Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please use the following link to register: https://bit.ly/3Zrixdb. A brief presentation followed by questions and comments from the public will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Questions and comments may be submitted via the online chat or with the raise hand feature for the project team to address directly.
The In-Person Construction Open House is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City of Port St. Lucie Municipal Complex, located at 121 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Building A, First Floor, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. This meeting will have an informal open house format with project representatives available to answer questions and provide assistance at any time during the meeting.
Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants within the construction corridor and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals who expressed interest in the project. Attached is a copy of the project information flyer.
