Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting regarding the proposed median modifications to be completed as part of resurfacing SR 52 from east of Hicks Road to west of Moon Lake Road in Pasco County, Florida. The public meeting will be held in person on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hudson Regional Library, Meeting Room, at 8012 Library Road, Hudson, FL 34667.
As part of the resurfacing project for SR 52 from east of Hicks Road to west of Moon Lake Road, FDOT is proposing the following changes:
Closing the existing Colony Lakes Blvd. bi-directional median opening.
Converting the Colony Road intersection to a full median opening with eastbound and westbound left-turn lanes along SR 52.
Closing the full median opening at Shadow Ridge Blvd.
Removing the existing crosswalk at Shadow Ridge Blvd.
The proposed roadway modifications will improve safety and reduce conflict points. This project will also include minor drainage improvements, ADA facility upgrades, enhancements to intersection lighting and traffic signal upgrades. Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2026.

Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, invites you to attend and participate in a public Kickoff Meeting on Thursday September 4, 2025 regarding the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to analyze potential capacity, safety, and hardening improvements on State Road (SR) 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) from County Road (CR) 611 (McMullen Booth Road) in Pinellas County to West of SR 589 (Veterans Expressway) in Hillsborough County for approximately 9.4 miles.
The study begins in the City of Clearwater and ends in the City of Tampa. Courtney Campbell Causeway is an existing 4-lane divided highway that includes three bridge crossings over Old Tampa Bay to allow watercraft access as well as to maintain tidal flow. The study will evaluate the potential environmental and social effects of the “no-build” and “build” alternatives.
The meeting is being held to present information to and receive public input from interested persons regarding the proposed improvements to the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
The meeting will be held in person from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in an open house format at the following location:
