This meeting will serve as the official Public Hearing for the Tentative Five-Year Work Program for FDOT District Two. There will be a brief work program development presentation at 6 p.m. followed by a public comment period. Department staff will be on hand to answer questions or concerns for all counties in District Two.
Interested persons may join the virtual public hearing (VPH) from a computer, tablet or phone or participate in person at the FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office Training Facility, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. All participants, regardless of their chosen platform, will experience the same live hearing.
Participants who are unable to attend the webinar online can still listen to the hearing by calling: 213-929-4212 and entering access code: 938-429-966 when prompted. Please note that while the call-in number is listen-only, callers may submit comments directly to Mr. Greg Evans, FDOT District Two Secretary, at the address listed below.

Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 2 invites you to a Subsequent Public Hearing to discuss proposed improvements to I-95 from I-10 to Beaver Street, in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.
FDOT previously held a virtual and in-person public hearing in January and February 2023, since that time changes have been made to the project. Stakeholders are invited to a subsequent public hearing to review these changes and provide comments regarding these proposed improvements. The proposed project will rehabilitate and replace the deck of the Myrtle Avenue Bridge (Bridge No. 720163) as well as add up to two 12-foot travel lanes in each direction on I-95. FDOT is recommending the following access management changes since the 2023 public hearing: 1. The removal of I-95 southbound exit ramp to Church Street, 2. The removal of the Beaver Street roundabout, 3. Modifications to the connecting I-95 ramps to and from Church Street, Beaver Street, and Union Street, 4. The removal of the Park Street median modifications from I-95 to Edison Avenue.
All public hearing materials, including the presentation will be available for your review, download and comments on the project website at www.nflroads.com/I-95
As of November 8, 2024, draft documents will be available for your review on-line at the project website and in person, during normal business hours at the following locations: FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office, 2198 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204, and the Jacksonville Main Library, 303 N. Laura Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
