Purpose: Project Information Notification State Road (SR) 7/US 441 Transit Corridor Improvements Project (Group 9) in the Town of Davie and City of Hollywood Financial Project ID Numbers: 429576-9-52-01/02 On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), you and your staff are invited to attend a Virtual and In-Person Construction Open House to learn about the roadway improvements on SW 45th Street/Orange Drive from Florida’s Turnpike to SR 7/US 441 and on Taft Street from SR 7/US 441 to N. 40th Street in the Town of Davie and City of Hollywood. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2024. The Virtual Public Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please use the following link to register: https://tinyurl.com/US-441-Group9. A brief presentation followed by questions and comments from the public will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Questions and comments may be submitted via the online chat or with the raise hand feature for the project team to address directly. The In-Person Construction Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hollywood Branch Library located at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, FL 33020. This meeting will have an informal open house format with project representatives available to answer questions and provide assistance at any time during the meeting. Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants within the construction corridor and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals who expressed interest in the project. Community feedback is at the core of all we do, FDOT works with the public to balance their community vision with the community's transportation needs. This is routine on all our projects to ensure Florida's infrastructure is safe, resilient, and efficient for many years into the future. Florida Transportation Plan Regional Workshop – Southeast (North) Region

Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting Regional Workshops across the state in September 2024 as part of the Florida Transportation Plan (FTP) Update. A workshop will be held in the southeast Florida region on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM EDT, at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. At the workshop, attendees will be given the opportunity to collaborate with local agencies in the community, provide feedback on the draft FTP vision and goals, and learn more about regional objectives. The in-person workshop is open to the public. FDOT initiated the FTP update in May 2024 to develop Florida’s overarching statewide plan guiding our transportation future. Community engagement is critical to the FTP development to ensure that the plan reflects the needs and priorities of Florida’s residents, visitors, and all users of our transportation system.
