Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 2 invites you to the Hybrid Public Meeting for the Main Street over Pimple Creek Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. The PD&E Study is evaluating alternatives to replace the Main Street bridge over Pimple Creek. The public meeting is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their opinions and concerns regarding the project. For your convenience, there are several options to participate in the public meeting including an in-person option and a virtual / online option. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the proposed project, and all comments received in-person, virtually, or electronically, carries equal weight. For more information regarding the project, please visit the project website at www.nflroads.com/pimplecreek. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
