Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation announces the Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties Five-Year Tentative Work Program Public Hearing to which all persons are invited.
The Miami-Dade and Monroe counties Work Program Public Hearing will be held in-person and virtually in order to present District Six's Five-Year Tentative Work Program and allow the public to ask questions or make comments about the plan in general, as well as specific projects included in the plan.

Both formats will consist of a formal presentation followed by a comment period and open discussion. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a live question and answer session. Online viewers can submit questions and comments prior to the Hearing by e-mailing wpcomments@dot.state.fl.us or submitting comments via the Microsoft Teams chat box. Questions and comments will be responded to in a timely manner. Purpose: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six will host a Public Information Meeting where the public is welcome to participate. I-95/State Road (SR) 9 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from south of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive to north of the Broward County Line, in Miami Dade County. The project identification number is 414964-1-22-01. The project’s primary objective is to address the deficient operational capacity and relieve existing/future congestion along the I-95/SR 9 corridor.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an open house, followed by a formal presentation at 6 p.m. and followed by an open discussion. Questions will be responded to as time permits, in the order received. If your question is not responded to during the meeting, a response will be provided in writing afterwards. Persons wishing to submit statements, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the workshop or by sending them to the Community Outreach Specialist. All statements postmarked on or before December 15, 2024 will become part of the meeting record.
