On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), you and your staff are invited to attend a Virtual and In-Person Construction Open House to learn about the SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard Widening Project from south of SW Paar Drive to south of SW Alcantarra Boulevard in the City of Port St. Lucie.
The City of Port St. Lucie, as project sponsor, requested that the FDOT design and construct this project through application to the St. Lucie Transportation Planning Organization and City of Port St. Lucie Resolution 18-R42. FDOT is pleased to assist with
completing these improvements.
Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2025.
The Virtual Public Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please use the following link to register: https://bit.ly/PSLBLVD. A brief presentation followed by questions and comments from the public will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The In-Person Construction Open House is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City of Port St. Lucie Municipal Complex, located at 121 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Building A, First Floor, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. This meeting will have an informal open house format with project representatives available to answer questions and provide assistance at any time during the meeting.
Notices are being sent to all property owners and tenants within the construction corridor and to other public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals who expressed interest in the project.
Community feedback is at the core of all we do, FDOT works with the public to balance their community vision with the community’s transportation needs. This is routine on all our projects to ensure Florida’s infrastructure is safe, resilient, and efficient for many years into the future.

The project limits extend along SR 7/US 441 from Orange Drive to Riverland Road, and on the south side of the North Fork New River (C-12) Canal from SR 7/US 441 to NW 31st Avenue/M.L.K. Jr. Avenue, within the cities of Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Lauderhill, and the Town of Davie.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four will hold a public hearing for the 2027-2031 Draft Tentative Five-Year Work Program on October 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Virtual and in-person attendance options are available.
The hearing will consist of a 30-minute presentation explaining FDOT’s work program process along with the projects planned in the 2027-2031 Draft Tentative Five-Year Work Program for Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session, and the hearing will adjourn at the conclusion of the public comments.
The public hearing will take place at the FDOT District Four Auditorium, located at 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. Individuals can attend in person or via webinar.
